Dry Rain Youth Theatre welcomes new members
Dry Rain Youth Theatre is a local non profit theatre group that was established over 22 years ago in Bray.
Every Saturday morning the group run drama and theatre workshops for young people aged 14 – 18 years old.
The weekly workshops cover different areas of performance including physical theatre, vocal training, acting skills, writing, directing, improvisation, film, street theatre, classical plays, new pieces of writing and work devised by members themselves.
‘Dry Rain is a great and warm and welcoming place. It helps you figure out who you are. You don’t necessarily even want to become an actor! We welcome all types. People interested in tech /music /backstage /directing /scripts /playwrights… The list is as endless as the individuals we’ve had as members over the last few years.’ – Barry O’Donovan, Dry Rain Workshop facilitator & ex Dry Rain member.
So if you have an interest in drama or theatre, why not pop along to the free open day workshop on Saturday 4th February in Hi-Rez Youth Centre, Herbert Road, Bray and see what you think for yourself.
