Native Woodlands Trust Volunteering Day
Help us get stuck into some spring cleaning on our Laragh Woodland Reserve on Saturday 3 March. Hands on volunteering days are the perfect way to have fun and get some exercise in the great outdoors while making a real difference for Irish conservation – all are welcome.
Using hand held tools and traditional techniques we shall spend a half day clearing paths on the reserve to keep them open for local access and tree planting later this year.
We will of course take plenty of breaks, stopping for tea (on us!) and some lunch while enjoying the spectacular views and fresh air of the Wicklow Mountains.
Meeting point: The Brockagh Centre car park, Laragh, Co. Wicklow at 11:00 on 3rd March.
